Group and Family Airport Transfers Toronto | YYZ SUV and Sprinter Van

Group and family airport transfers at Toronto Pearson. Choosing between SUV, Sprinter van and mini coach, luggage capacity, child seats and how.
Moving one business traveller from Toronto Pearson to a downtown hotel is simple. Moving a family of six with eight suitcases and two car seats, or a delegation of thirty arriving on three different flights, is a logistics exercise, and the most common mistake is booking a vehicle that is technically large enough on paper.
This guide covers what each vehicle class actually holds, how we run multi-vehicle group arrivals, and the details that matter when children or bulky equipment are involved.

Real Capacity, Not Brochure Capacity
Seat count and luggage capacity rarely match. These are the working figures we use when assigning vehicles.
- Executive Sedan — 3 passengers, 3 standard suitcases. Realistically 2 adults with 2 large cases.
- Luxury Sedan — 3 passengers, 2 suitcases. Choose it for comfort, not capacity.
- Premium SUV — 6 passengers, 6 suitcases. With 6 passengers seated, plan on 4 large cases.
- Executive Sprinter Van — 11 to 14 passengers with full luggage capacity. The workhorse for families and teams.
- Mini Coach — 24 to 32 passengers. Motor Coach — up to 56, with underfloor luggage holds.
Children and Car Seats
Infant, convertible and booster seats are provided at no charge and installed before pickup. We need each child’s age and approximate weight at the time of booking so the correct seat is fitted, and we recommend a Premium SUV or a Sprinter rather than a sedan for any family travelling with two or more seats, simply because the installation and the luggage do not both fit otherwise.

Multi-Vehicle Group Arrivals
For conferences, sports teams, weddings and corporate offsites we build a timed manifest rather than dispatching vehicles all at once.
- Flights are tracked individually, so vehicles are dispatched per flight rather than per booking.
- Passengers are assigned to numbered vehicles in advance and given the number by email.
- A ground coordinator meets larger groups in the arrivals hall and directs passengers.
- Vehicles are staged and called forward in sequence, which keeps the terminal curb moving.
Group work is quoted individually. Contact our team through the corporate transfer service page with your flight list and headcount.
Sports Equipment, Instruments and Trade Show Materials
Skis, golf clubs, hockey bags, double basses and pop-up exhibition stands all need to be declared at booking. They change the vehicle assignment, and occasionally require a luggage trailer or a second vehicle. It is far cheaper to tell us in advance than to discover it at the curb.
Booking Lead Times for Groups
Sedans and SUVs can usually be arranged same day. Sprinter vans need 24 to 48 hours in most weeks. Mini coaches and motor coaches, particularly during convention season, wedding season and the film festival, should be booked two to four weeks ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many suitcases fit in a Premium SUV?
Six standard checked bags with four passengers, or about four large cases with six passengers seated. If you are close to the limit we will recommend a Sprinter instead.
Do you charge for child seats?
No. Infant, convertible and booster seats are included, fitted before pickup, provided you tell us the ages and weights when booking.
Can one booking cover several flights arriving at different times?
Yes. That is exactly what a group manifest does. Each flight is tracked separately and its vehicle dispatched against its own landing time.
Is a Sprinter van more expensive than two SUVs?
Usually less, and always simpler. One vehicle means one chauffeur, one meeting point and one group that stays together.
