- 06:30 to 09:30 weekdays — 45 to 75 minutes. The 427 and the Gardiner are both loaded.
- 09:30 to 15:00 — 35 to 45 minutes. Predictable and comfortable.
- 15:00 to 19:00 weekdays — 50 to 80 minutes. The worst window, and the one most often underestimated.
- 19:00 to midnight — 30 to 40 minutes.
- Weekends — generally 30 to 45 minutes, though downtown event days change this completely.
The Routes We Use
The default is Highway 427 south to the Gardiner Expressway eastbound, exiting at Spadina, Rees or York depending on your hotel. When the 427 or the Gardiner is blocked, the practical alternates are Highway 401 east to the Don Valley Parkway for the eastern core, or Dundas and Lake Shore Boulevard for the western core.
